Week 1 and Week 2 : Biweekly Journal of School Internship
Introduction
We ( Rathi and I) began our internship at Government GIRLS GHSS NEYYATTINKARA from 12 August 2024. As a part of B.Ed curriculum we have this teaching practice. The school environment is actually cozy and reassuring to us as we first went in. Our Head Master and our senior teachers were welcoming to us and helpful from the very beginning, providing proper instruction and oversight. The school is very rich with student and has a larger populationand has a very large strength and division of classes.

February 15, 2025
Over the past two weeks, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in three distinct yet interrelated experiences—a film fest that showcased innovative storytelling, a vibrant youth festival that celebrated creativity and community, and a series of Independence Day classes that deepened my understanding of our nation’s heritage. Reflecting on these events has given me a richer perspective on culture, creativity, and civic responsibility.
Film Fest Reflection:
The film fest was a dynamic introduction to diverse narratives and visual storytelling. I watched several films that explored themes ranging from social justice to personal identity. One film, in particular, challenged my views on resilience and community, prompting me to think critically about the power of art as a catalyst for change. Post-screening discussions allowed me to exchange insights with peers, further broadening my perspective. I realized that cinema can be both an escape and a mirror reflecting our society’s triumphs and challenges.
Youth Festival Reflection:
At the youth festival, I was struck by the palpable energy and enthusiasm of young creatives. The event featured performances, interactive workshops, and collaborative projects that encouraged everyone to participate actively. I engaged in a creative workshop where I learned new techniques in digital storytelling, which not only honed my technical skills but also boosted my confidence to experiment with my ideas. The festival was a reminder that our generation is capable of reshaping the narrative by embracing diversity, innovation, and inclusivity.
